Linux AWS Admin
Company: Food for Health International is a manufacturing, sales and distribution powerhouse that specializes in whole food nutrition and emergency preparedness. Founded in 2004, Food for Health International is a privately held company with corporate offices in Orem, Utah and company-owned manufacturing and distribution facilities located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
We are looking for independent thinking, detail oriented linux administrator. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on and creative - driven to build systems 'right way' while knowing and adept at diagnosing, deploying and even using band-aids to get imemdiate problems solved.
The candidate will be among team of web / php developers and must feel comfortable working independent without an internal team of Linux and System admins to consult.
Requirements:
Demonstrating the ability to diagnose complex web application issues and provide quick and accurate solutions within a collaborative environment.
Taking ownership of issues from identification through resolution - coupled with humility and wisdom to utilize other admin, programmer and web developemnt resources.
Installing, configuring, and maintaining services and web deployments (Specifically: Apache, MySQL, Git repos, Magento, and Wordpress)
Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, CloudFormation, Auto Scaling, )
Advanced knowledge of the Linux operating system.
Strong understanding of Networking, DNS, and how the internet works in general.
Requirements:
