Systems Administrator (Dev Ops)
This role is responsible for the up-time, security and performance of ActiveCare servers, with an emphasis on the Linux operating system. This role is also responsible for managing the code repository, ensuring that change control policies are enforced, and releasing code to the production site when appropriate quality has been achieved.
Responsibilities:
System administration of the Linux environment
Managing the code repository
Managing the release of code to the production system
Provide recommendations on optimal system design
Installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Apache, MySQL
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
Creates, upholds and updates documentation and configuration standards for hardware and software, technologies, and systems that are installed and supported
Other responsibilities as needed
Required Skills:
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to logically work through a problem and develop optimal solutions, following escalation paths when necessary
Ability to work independently on problems, performing detailed analyses until the problem is identified and resolved
Ability to handle occasional late night releases and updates

years' experience with Linux system administration
Experience with change control
Git and GitHub
Knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, VPN, LAN/WAN topologies
Desired Skills:
Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Hudson, Jenkins, Bamboo)
Experience with Windows system administration including Active Directory
Healthcare IT experience, including HIPAA security
MySQL
Python
PHP
AWS
Virtualization experience
