Web Developer

This role is responsible for developing the user experience of the ActiveCare system, building highly usable and intuitive front-ends for a variety of personas connecting a variety of back end systems via a .NET MVC framework. This role is also expected to be an active member in defining, documenting and implementing scalable enterprise software development processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver world-class user experiences for the various personas within the ActiveCare ecosystem.
2. Develop and maintain the front-end code repository.
3. Provide innovative solutions to the business problems faced by ActiveCare and its customers.
4. Ability to integrate a variety of systems and present a unified experience to an end-user.
Required Skills:
-Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to logically work through a problem and develop optimal solutions, following escalation paths when necessary
- Ability to work independently on problems, performing detailed analyses until the problem is identified and resolved
- Ability to work tightly with remote team
- Ability to handle occasional late nights to deliver on deadlines

years experience with .NET MVC in an enterprise environment

- JavaScript
- CSS
- RESTful APIs
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Hudson, Jenkins, Bamboo)
- Healthcare IT experience, including HIPAA security, TPAs, and claims data
- Some Linux experience (including Apache)
- Exposure to databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
- Python, PHP
- Usability/UX exposure
Experience with change control processes
Git and GitHub

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
