This position will work directly with Director of Product Development and is responsible for management of the Retail or Commercial product lineup including maintenance and improvements to the existing lineup and launch of new product development.
Essential Functions:
Lead and coordinate cross-functional team efforts.
Responsible for holding creative brainstorms.
Drive market research and analysis.
Respond to anticipate market needs.
Assist in product development on numerous existing and new products.
Coordinate strategies and efforts with sales, marketing, engineering and production.
Manage multiple tasks and project tracking.
Create attainable timelines for department needs.
Organize visual tracking metrics, lineup strategies and product roadmap strategies.
Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in related field.
2-5 years of experience in product management and/or product development.
Experience in consumer goods, project management, and manufacturing highly preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Technical skills and experience in consumer products and manufacturing processes.
Ability to take the initiative and drive projects and ideas.
Must be detail-oriented, task master and a creative thinker.
Must be an experienced strategist, savvy marketer, flexible planner and very organized.
