In this role, you will develop, create, and modify computer applications software predominantly in the programming environment, as well as specialized utility programs. This person will analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design and customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinate software development as part of a team.

What you'll need:
Education: BS in software engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: Entry level to 3 years software development.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
o Experience with or C+, XML.
o Experience with .Net and Visual Studio.
o Familiarity with Agile scrum development methodology.
o Object oriented analysis and design.
o Experience with Web Services, WCF.
o Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal guidance.
o Strong interpersonal skills.
o Excellent written and oral communication skills across all levels of the organization.
o Demonstrate problem analysis and resolution at strategic and functional levels.
What you'll be doing:
Architect, design, code, analyze and test user front end software used for home automation environment.
Work with product marketing and software development team to create specifications that meet customer use case requirements and support a broad spectrum of home automation products.
Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility and design features within project and time and cost constraints.
Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, third party equipment and to improve its performance.
Solve complex home automation system application problems through design and development of system software configuration and set-up tools.
Be capable of working with a software and product development teams in a fast paced and innovative technology environment.
