Bookkeeper / Executive Assistant Job Description Bookkeeper and Executive Assistant Responsibilities Responsible for day to day accounting including accounts payable, reconciling monthly bank statements, preparing journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations. Accounting is the main function of this position, however, the applicant may be asked to help with other tasks as well including running errands, maintaining company databases, state & federal reports, organizing files, etc. .
