ARTISAN The role of Artisan is a highly soughtafter role at Vidor Garage Door in which you can create and express your artistic talents through custom garage door finishes.
Provide our proprietary faux finishes to replicate wood metal and other materials on garage doors Help customers designers and builders with custom matches to barnwood custom wood colors and other finish colors Help in the creation of new colors and finishes Keep up with schedule and work orders Color Applications including use of toners stains and glazes Ensure batch material matches control finish standard for all work orders Maintain all quality standards within staining and glazing operations Routinely monitor products to completion Effectively manage all waste per compliance requirements Ability to achieve results in an accurate and timely manner Maintain awareness of schedules and adjust work capacity needs as required Keep work areas clean and safe Communicate effectively with coworkers managers and others Share knowledge and ideas Perform activities that directly support team outcomes Perform duties based on instructionspast practices but also help create new ones Painting or faux finishing experience beneficial but not required Artistic mindset This is a fantastic job for artists and creative people Someone who enjoys skilled trades making things by hand Requires muscle coordination.
