Part-Time Facility Maintenance Technician
Turner Innovations and its family of companies develops and manufactures products for the medical life science physical science and security and defense industries.
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to maintain the facility to enable smooth operations.
The Maintenance Technician performs ongoing facility maintenance and completes repairs on equipment.
Their duties include fixing machinery plumbing heating and wiring inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards and scheduling major repairs with the buildings inhabitants.
This is a parttime position with an expected hours week.
The expected number of hours for individuals with the right machining skills is negotiable potentially fulltime see ideal candidate additional skills below.
Repair broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures Electrical repair Work on electrical wiring lighting other common electrical repairs Maintain the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly Repairs to walls doors and windows as required Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries Paint the building when old paint has become faded or chipped inside only Minor groundskeeping tasks Other tasks as assigned by your manager Education High school diploma or GED equivalent Plumbing knowledge to address leaks clogs or other drainage problems Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the buildings electricity Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the building in a pleasant manner Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked Basic computer skills including MS Office applications Word Excel Outlook and other webbased applications The ideal candidate will have these additional skills Machining Experience A minimum of five years experience programming and machining in a high precision machine shop using common machine shop tools including lathe and mill NC Programming for NC mill and lathe work If you are interested please send a resume to Charles Jensen Facilities Manager cjensentmedtech.
