The warehouse manager plays a pivotal role in the success of our 3PL SBU by overseeing the effective management of people, systems, and processes.
In addition to maintaining profitability and upholding exceptional quality standards to delight our customers, this role also encompasses a critical responsibility for driving the growth of our business.
Beyond ensuring seamless dispatch and receipt of goods, meeting productivity targets, and maintaining high quality, you will work closely with the leadership team to identify and implement strategic initiatives that foster business expansion.
Your insights and actions will directly impact the overall growth trajectory of our operations.
This includes identifying new opportunities, optimizing existing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate solutions that drive efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.
Your ability to balance these responsibilities will shape the trajectory of our success and define our position in the market.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ENSURE THAT WAREHOUSE IS CLEAN AND ORGANIZED ENSURE THAT SYSTEMS, STANDARDS AND PROCESSES ARE IN PLACE/ARE BEING MET BY DIFFERENT TEAMS ENSURE THAT GOODS ARE DISPATCHED AND RECEIVED APPROPRIATELY Researches, identifies, and presents new ideas to improve warehouse operations.
FILL VOIDS AS NEEDED WITH EMPLOYEES TIME OFF Completes all required management reports including but not limited to:
INVOICING, INVENTORY AND OTHER KPI'S OVERSEES WMS SOFTWARE OPERATIONS CUSTOMER RELATIONS WHERE NEEDED.
Executes maintenance activities when needed.
Attends and participates in regularly scheduled and impromptu meetings.
DRIVES THE 3PL REVENUE GROWTH/DEVELOPMENT Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES PROVIDE SUPPORT, TRAINING AND DIRECTION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE TEAM EFFECTIVE MEETINGS EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE GROWTH AND REVIEWS (timely and constructive) Oversees the daily workflow of the warehouse; schedules and organizes staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts.
Hires and trains new warehouse employees.
Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Participates in planning personnel safety and protection activities.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills.
Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local and company safety policies Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
