The Notary Law Institute needs a detail oriented, self-starting, friendly assistant office manager. You will be the face of our small company, and be heavily relied upon to contribute. The job description is not comprehensive - you will wear many hats. In return, we enjoy many benefits - no weekends, bank holidays, company lunches, soccer games, etc
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Answer phone calls for notary support, questions, order placement, etc
Answer email
Ensure proper notarial processes are being adhered to according to various state laws
Process and prepare for shipment all website orders
Process and ship orders
Coordinate client requests with management
Ensure security and confidentiality of data
Order products through various suppliers and vendors
Monitor and maintain office supplies & inventory
Handle customer inquiries and complaints
Education and Experience
1-2 years of college
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (mainly Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Knowledge of accounting & data management procedures a plus
Type 40
WPM
Notary experience a BIG plus
Basic computer usage and ability to use the internet a must
Chocolate-chip cookie making skills a huge bonus. Samples required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
