Job Description:
ServiceMaster Restore sales professionals are responsible for introducing and selling restoration services in response to fire, water and other types of property damage. Our local sales team handles marketing activities with insurance adjusters, agents and property managers. Our sales leaders are on the front line in the field and are the face and voice of ServiceMaster Restore.
As a ServiceMaster sales professional, your primary responsibility will include responding to the needs of our customers and building relationships with our clients. Your job duties will include prospecting for new contacts, building and maintaining existing client relationships, and responding to both residential and commercial losses. You will be required to achieve goals by consistently performing necessary daily activities to build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities. You also will be responsible for logging your daily interactions, identifying key local targets, and providing demonstrations and presentations. Attaining job and revenue goals will be supported by weekly sales meetings and training.
The ideal candidate for this sales position will have a 2-year college degree or equivalent experience in insurance claims or the restoration industry.
1 or more years of business-to-business outside sales experience preferred
Valid driver's license
Fundamental understanding of outside sales and business-to-business sales tactics and techniques
Ability to communicate, build relationships, provide customer service, prioritize, account forecast / planning, negotiating, consultative selling and superior organizational and time management skills
Ability to perform without direct supervision
Ability to work afterhours and be on-call after normal business hours Proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Office, Excel, Outlook, etc.) a must

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
