Fabricator
Prodigy Engineering is a fast paced rapid engineering and manufacturing firm located in Orem, UT. We specialize in the automotive and aviation markets. At Prodigy we pride ourselves on our no nonsense, no excuses, can do attitude. Due to growth and expansion we are in need of another Fabrication/build hand. We are a Tier 1 supplier and expect first rate quality and safety standards. In addition to fabrication work there will also be occasional assembly, mechanical work, cleaning, and other duties.
Qualified applicants should have a minimum of 2 years work experience in the metalworking field. Applicants should be proficient at welding (mig/tig) both steel and aluminum. They should also be able to use all common shop tools, both electric and pneumatic, as well as grinders, drills, saws, etc. Experience should include use of metal working tools such as a press brake, and plasma torch as well. Since you will be working in the shop some as a build hand, a working knowledge and experience in auto mechanics is preferred. Because we are a tier one supplier, and are striving for ISO/TS standards any experience in the workings of ISO standards will be helpful. We are looking for a safety minded individual with an eye for detail and a strong work ethic. Must be a self starter who isn't afraid of working weekends or overtime when the job needs done, or occasional travel.
