Quality Assurance and R&D Manager / SQF Practitioner

Join rapidly growing commercial bakery that services retail market. Responsible for all Quality Assurance and R&D within the organization. Responsible for implementing lean SQF quality programs throughout organization.
Responsibilities include:
o Work with production/operations team and customers to assure the highest quality products
o Manage quality and R&D teams
o Drive, manage, and implement all aspects of SQF quality assurance program
o Manage the creation of attractive and delicious bakery products
o Support the R&D Technician in generating recipes, procedures, and completing specifications to ensure consistent quality in commercial production
o Provide and manage all R&D functions and reporting requirements
o Work with production on new equipment and procedure improvements
o Verify all documentation concerning product development
o Maintain and manage all documentation concerning quality assurance and sanitation programs
Qualifications include:
o 5
years of experience in food quality assurance
o 2
years of experience in food research and development of commercial products
o Ability to create and commercialize retail bakery products
o Full understanding of HACCP, food safety, GFSI, SQF, 3rd Party audits (AIB, Silliker)
o Understanding of bakery process equipment and process flow
o Food Science degree or other food-related degree
o Entrepreneurial
o Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
