Production Team Leader (Hourly)

Participate in all day-to-day activities of assigned team, including:
opening the work area, maintaining continual work flow throughout the work day, supervision of the activities of the assigned team and supervision of final clean up.
Ensure that all products made or completed in the assigned team are to MityLite standards of quality.
Establish and measure team performance against benchmarks of schedule completion, efficiency, quality, and safety.
Assign daily job duties and tasks to Team Members as required by area manager.
Train employees in proper procedures and techniques critical to area success. Responsible for team compliance to training received.
Work alongside and supervise up to 15 hourly employees.
Identify and implement improvements to lead time, efficiency, quality, and safety.
Manage Safety, Regulatory Compliance, Quality, and Delivery within the department.
Instruct new employees on the most effective way to make products and follow procedures in the assigned work area. Provide written feedback to area manager regarding the certification and training needs of new employees.
Maintain knowledge of all equipment in area, demonstrate proper procedures while operating equipment with proper emphasis on safety.
Support Management objectives in a positive and constructive manner.
Take immediate corrective action in the absence of area Manager.
Achieve goals and objectives established with your Manager.
Complete all required reporting and paperwork for your designated area in a timely, complete manner, including but not limited to daily pass down reports.
Follow all established departmental/company rules and regulations, including but not limited to workplace safety, SOP's and 5S.
Convey a positive, professional and helpful image to both internal and external customers.

Three to five years of supervisory experience a must.
Lean manufacturing training and track record of demonstrated improvements preferred.
At least 2 years of proven MIG Welding experience preferred.
Steel fabrication experience and blueprint reading preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner with all levels of management, staff and other department personnel.
Computer literacy including MS Office Suite.
Functional arithmetic skills; ability to count production and accurately track inventory at the beginning and end of the shift.
Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and results oriented.
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize high-demands tasks.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
