Project Scheduler - Construction

Westland Construction Inc., an established and growing national general contractor in the public and private sectors is looking for an experience Project Scheduler to join our professional team. The Scheduler will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager with developing the project schedule, revising plans, schedules and specs from all parties in the scheduling process and providing feedback and analysis. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, use good judgment, adapt to change, have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred candidates will have experience in project controls scheduling with a degree in Construction Management from an accredited University. A candidate with construction experience, pursuing a Construction Management degree or a candidate with construction scheduling experience will also be considered for the position.
Preferred candidates will have knowledge of some or all of the following:
o Critical Path Method (CPM) and Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) fundamentals including developing a CPM resource loaded schedule.
o Engineering and Architectural plans.
o Approved methods, materials, and devices used in general building and civil construction.
o Project earned value applications and assessment.
o Construction productions rates for primary commodities in commercial building including, but not limited to, demolition, excavation, pile driving, paving, steel construction, formwork, concrete placement, underground utilities, and tenant improvements.
o Primavera or Suretrak scheduling software.
o Microsoft Office Suite; Project, Excel, and Word.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
