Essential Duties and Responsibilities
o Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all transaction by implementing disciplines of internal controls and checks across all departments.
o Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payables, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity (Fishbowl) fixed assets records, general and entity accounting, cost accounting, Human Resources, and Operations. Perform daily accounting operations, proficient in Quickbooks, understand payroll, 401k programs, Excel, Word.
o Develop, improve and issue timely monthly financial records for CEO and President.
o Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects, program, capital expenditures, products costing, etc.
o Manage commercial banking relationships to facilitate an appropriate credit resource under highly competitive terms.
o Work closely with CEO and President in the development and economic evaluation of various fringe benefit programs for staff and program components.
o Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures.
o Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data, recommending plans.
o Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements, filing financial reports, advising management on needed actions.
o Ensures operation of equipment by establishing service contracts, maintaining equipment inventories, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
o Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
o Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills required:
Degree in accounting preferred, but will consider work experience in lieu of degree.
Attention to detail a must.
Ability to work with little supervision
Good communication skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
