Sales Center Manager (Branch Manager) - Orem, UT


Summary:
Sales Center Manager will manage sales and profitability of a large, established wholesale HVAC/R distributorship that carries multiple brands of equipment, parts and supplies. Assists and waits on customers both at the counter and the warehouse, as required. Organizes and trains employees on required safety initiatives while supporting an OSHA compliant workplace. Other duties may be assigned. The ultimate goal of this role is to successfully manage the daily operations of all facets of the Sales Center.
Essential Duties/Accountabilities:
o Manage a work force of up to 3 people including warehouse, receiving/shipping, delivery, fleet drivers, showroom, counter sales and inside sales personnel.
o Interact with outside sales people and vendors.
o Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and leading a diversified work force.
o Manage inventory to ensure proper turns throughout the year.
o Determine and monitor inventory stock levels, manage merchandising of sales showroom, and train counter sales personnel.
o Keep up with technical developments and changes in product lines, monitor competitive threats and react accordingly.
o Responsible for service center's P & L.
o Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving and customer service are absolutely required.
o Must possess the attitude of wanting to learn, teach and lead
o Conducts him- or herself in a professional and courteous manner in all aspects of interaction with employees, customers, contractors and consumers.
Qualifications:

o Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred.
o Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in HVAC/R industry
o 5 years of experience managing a branch operation in a HVAC/R wholesale/supply house environment or a very similar industry.
o Intermediate computer skill level on Excel, MS Outlook, Internet, & Word. Moderate skill level of PowerPoint and spreadsheet abilities.
o Strong interpersonal skills including problem solving and customer service are absolutely required.
o Capable of working in a fast paced environment with skills to multi-task on different levels.
o Proficiency in air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level.
o Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, gross margins, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
