CO-PACKING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Immediate opening for an experienced Co-Packing / Manufacturing Business Development Manager for a business to business sales career opportunity in the Orem, UT. area.
Salary Range:
$40,000 - $50,000 yr. (depending on previous experience)
Excellent commission plan

We are looking for a highly driven and competitive Business Development Manager to develop and implement sales strategies and attract new clients, specifically in the Co-Packing / Co-Manufacturing industry. You will source new sales opportunities and close opportunities. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating new leads, qualifying prospects, working with the operations team to quote rates, and close new business.

Responsibilities
Prospect and connect with organizations who specialize in Dry Foods (powders, food storage, etc.), Cosmetics & Personal Care products, Essential Oils, MLM Type companies.
Learn more about prospect company s products, ingredients, volumes, required certifications, etc. and provide manufacturing / co-packing solutions geared specifically for that organization.
Work inside a proven sales training system to build strong relationships and close more sales.
Get the sale using various sales methods to include, cold calling, employee referrals, etc.
Use proven methods as well as developing your sales strategies and evaluate their effectiveness
Evaluate customer s needs and build productive long lasting relationships
Meet personal and team sales targets
Follow up on warm leads as well as research accounts and generate sales leads in your assigned territory
Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
Record daily activity in CRM as well as managing sales funnel in that system
Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
Qualifications
Requirements
1-3 years of Manufacturing experience with proven and successful outside sales experience (Manufacturing & Sales Experience Required)
Current contact list and existing book of business you are able to bring with you as leads for future business.
Track record of over-achieving sales quota
Experience working with a CRM
Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
Computer competency
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and driven
High school diploma is mandatory and a college degree is preferred but not required
