Job Description
A successful Medical Assistant candidate knows how to cheerfully interact with members of the healthcare team effectively and efficiently.
Our Medical Assistants interact collegially with our providers and other staff in order to maintain professional and friendly workplace. We learn to cross-cover each other s duties and cheerfully fill in when the need arises.
Responsibilities
Our Medical Assistants are responsible for intaking patients, including vitals, phlebotomy, performing EKG, and other screening procedures, and maintaining complete and accurate medical records.
We love attending to our patients needs such as, telephone call-backs, prescription refills, scheduling procedures and appointments, processing prior authorizations, and answering portal emails using our electronic health record.
Qualifications
This position is Full Time, permanent. Monday through Friday 8:
30am to 5:
30pm
Includes an extensive Benefits package.
Requires Current Medical Assistant Certification and HS Diploma, computer literacy, excellent English language skills, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, a cheerful disposition, and a caring personality.
Spanish language fluency is a plus.

Orem Internal Medicine is a medical practice focused on providing health and wellness empowerment to adults in the Utah County area. We believe in treating each patient as an integral member of their own healthcare team. Our practice includes a full on-site laboratory, general x-ray, bone density scanning, and other testing. As such, our Medical Assistants are a critical part of our patients experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
