Employment Specialist
Job Description
We provide employment services for job seekers with disabilities to assist them in obtaining and maintaining employment. Our employment specialist provide the following services:
work strategy assessments, job development and placement services and when needed job coaching services with our clients. Our services are only provided within Utah County and our clients all live within Utah County.
Responsibilities
Our employment specialist are professional positions who work directly with the two state agencies who provide us with clients. Our employment specialist will need to be able to work with these state agencies, families, potential employers, hiring managers, school districts all in a professional manner. Much of our employment specialist duties require great people skills and the ability and desire to work with a variety of people throughout the day.
Qualifications
Pass a background test, willingness to become CPR certified, pass a TB test and have a good driving record. Willingness to become certified by the state to provide employment services for job seekers with disabilities. A laptop computer and reliable transportation to meet with clients, talk with businesses, state counselors, etc. are required for the job.
