JOB PURPOSE: The Sales Associate plays a pivotal role in the success of our business by performing in-store sales, telemarketing and supporting the achievement of sales and growth targets. The Sales Associate will also deliver exemplary service to both customers and retail partners. It is vital the Sales Associate builds strong rapport with host store coworkers to ensure receipt of all credit turn-downs and to achieve conversion of customer opportunities.
Essential Functions:
Learning and Growth:
Take responsibility for personal development and growth
Diligently perform training as assigned
Maintain a positive attitude and self-motivation to achieve performance
Sales Performance:
Collaborate with host store coworkers and management to maintain continual flow of referred customers, conversions and ultimately sales
Educate customers on the lease purchase agreement, additional benefits, payment options, delivery process and ongoing customer service options
Review and validate customer lease purchase agreement information, obtain customer signatures, and close sales
Prospect for new business by telemarketing and distributing print materials
Utilize all company provided systems and reports to track leads, orders and new accounts
Customer Service:
Build and maintain positive working relationships with host store associates and management
Assist with educating host store coworkers on the lease purchase process and providing updates to the process as needed
Deliver exceptional customer service both in-person and over the phone, ensuring a positive customer experience
Ensure customer concerns are addressed and routed to appropriate parties
Operational Excellence:
Executing operating procedures and company programs/policies
Complete paperwork to ensure customer receives merchandise and host store receives payment
Maintain customer files, including contact information, sales activities, and inquiries daily
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workspace
Execute beginning and end of day activities and reporting procedures
Review and file weekly and monthly reports
Make bank deposits as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Zero to six months of prior sales experience required; retail, furniture, appliance, electronics sales experience a plus
Prior customer service experience required
Must be able to work a full time retail schedule with 2 days off per week which requires flexible availability to include days, evenings, weekends and most holidays
Valid driver s license preferred
Friendly with exceptional communication skills
Organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task
Proficient with simple math calculations
Computer literacy/proficiency in a windows operation system
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Zero to six months of prior sales experience required; retail, furniture, appliance, electronics sales experience a plus
