Job Description
The Admissions Coordinator oversees the assessment, referral and admission activities. The Coordinator is responsible to assure prompt response to patient needs and maintains all documents and departmental logs. The Coordinator provides telephone and in person risk assessment and crisis intervention. The incumbent must determine the appropriate level of care and maintain communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff. Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital is an 80 bed facility serving the adolescent, adult, and senior population. Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital is located in Orem, Utah and is a member of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS). Responsibilities
Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital is continuing to grow and in need of adding a Full-time and On Call position to their Admissions Department.
Full- time position - Thursday, Friday and Saturday - 12 hour shifts - 3:
00 p.m. to 3:
30 a.m. or may choose 4:
00 p.m. to 4:
30 a.m. - Utah license as an RN or Master's level Therapist required. Must have excellent communication skills.
On call position - Day or evening shifts available for staff coverage or high census.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
