Medical Billing Assistant
Job Description
Utah Valley Psychology is seeking full-time medical billing assistant with daytime office hours Monday thru Friday. This position would require you to multi-task, work productively and meet deadlines. You need to have great communication skills with insurance companies and co-workers, and careful attention to detail is a must. Starting pay is $15 an hour. Position is available starting June 1st. Responsibilities
Duties include working with insurance companies via phone for the following tasks:
Verification of benefits for patients, Claim status, Claim appeals, Billing, Medical record requests, accounts payable and receivable and some miscellaneous office work to support staff.
Qualifications
Experience in office administration, insurance billing and/or accounting are preferred.
