Mid to Senior PHP Developer

We are looking for a Mid to Senior PHP developer who is dedicated to their craft that can hit the ground running. We need you to write beautiful, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways while following the KISS and DRY methodologies.
You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the on-going software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching. We work hard, play hard, and have a ping pong table, pool table, and snacks available in the office.
Responsibilities
Write clean, readable, well designed code
Produce detailed specifications
Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality with KISS/DRY in mind
Follow industry best practices
Familiar with PHP frameworks, especially Laravel framework a plus
Working with a team to develop simple, optimized code
MySQL experience
Angular or NodeJS experience is a plus
Familiar with LAMP
Qualifications
Proven software development experience in PHP
Understanding of open source projects like JQuery, Angular, PHPJS
Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, etc
Good knowledge of version control tools and of developing web services, especially Git
Object oriented programming (OOP)
Experience with common third-party APIs
Confident in writing cron jobs
Linux experience
Working in a team environment
Highly Competitive Salary DOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
