Motion Graphics Specialist
Job Description
Summary - The Motion Graphics Specialist is primarily responsible for creating and editing engaging education-based videos in a fun, fast-paced work environment. This position is responsible for the creation and editing of engaging and exceptionally designed original video and motion graphic content. Storytelling skills, a strong design sensibility and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure is a must.

Creative ingenuity
Create high-end motion graphic elements
3D Modeling
Maintain positive relationships by establishing trust and effective communication
Provide backup to other departments as needed
Other duties may be assigned as needed
Effects supervision when needed
Job Requirements
In-depth knowledge of the company s products
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and is detailed oriented
Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members
Proficient organizational workflow skills
Excellent computer knowledge, namely Adobe Premiere editing software and Mac products
Exhibits punctuality and professionalism
Effective oral and written communication skills
Completes Professional Development Plan including attendance to industry conferences, classes, etc. with approval from Video Production Manager, not less than six hours per year
Regular and predictable attendance
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Film and Video Production preferred
At least one year work experience creating media graphic material, video editing, and related creative elements preferred
3D Modeling and Compositing
Physical Demands
The employee is required to talk, hear, and see. Often, this position requires the employee to stand, sit, bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, ascend and descend stairs. Also to reach with arms and hands, and use hands and fingers to feel, handle, and manipulate keyboard keys. The employee is also required to lift up to 20 lbs. Travel may be required on company business by car, plane or other transportation.
