Cabinet Designer
Job Description
EDGE Homes is looking for an independent contract Cabinet Designer that will be responsible for all cabinet design and cabinet product ordering.
Responsibilities
Draft and design all cabinets for each standard plan based on function, aesthetics and cost.
Work with clients to determine their requirements and help to provide creative, personalized solutions.
Create and present final design to obtain approval on design concept.
Document quotes and manage the full cycle ordering process for all necessary cabinetry products.
Work with purchasing department on special orders.
Qualifications
Technical diploma or degree required
Minimum 4 years of experience producing detailed cabinet drawings
Minimum 4 years of experience performing detailed cabinet takeoffs
Previous kitchen/bath cabinetry design experience
Knowledge of plumbing and appliance integration with cabinetry, including installation requirements.
Ability to work in a team environment and receive feedback
Detail-oriented and excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
