Summary of Duties
Temporary Positions: Employment Dates June 4th 2017 through June 30th, 2017 with a two-day prior training in May.
Two Shifts available
Shift 1: S,M,T, 11:00pm-8:00am
Shift 2: T,W,Th 11:00pm-8:00am
Under the direction of the Upward Bound Director, night awake staff monitors students who will be sleeping in the dorms, and performs hourly bedroom checks to ensure safety and well-being of students throughout the night. Escorts students to UVU campus. Communicates with program staff about any issues that arise. Miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. This position stays awake all night.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation with a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years of college education.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge
Knowledge of policies and procedures in safety and ethical behavior.
Skills
Skills in interpersonal, problem-solving and decision-making.
Abilities
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to get along with different types of personalities.
