Job Description
Seeking field manager for our growing business at Moonlight Holiday lighting:
We are a labor based wedding/ holiday light company. We install year round wedding lighting/drapery for indoor and outdoor events, and also install Christmas lighting in the fall and winter months for our client s homes and business. We are looking for a full time, clean cut, hardworking and committed employee to join our staff as a field manager.
Salary varies depending on experience. Typical starting salary is $3,500 a month or $42,000 per year.
You'll typically work a 45-55 hour week, although you may need to come in early or stay late during busy periods. Weekend work will be required (no work on Sundays) . Hours vary with the demand of the events scheduled. One day off each week in the middle of the week (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday)
Responsibilities
Management of field workers on job sites
Helping with needed field work (installations/labor of work to be completed)
Manage online employee schedule for field workers
Develop and implement new systems when necessary, such as training and safety procedures
Oversee the recruitment of new field staff, including training and induction
Ensure adequate staff levels to cover for absences and peaks in workload
Carry out field staff appraisals, manage performance and discipline staff
Delegate work to field staff and manage their workload and output
Respond to customer inquiries and complaints on job site when needed
Arrange regular testing for field workers.
Qualifications
Must have cell phone
Must have High school diploma
Some Experience in Management of field or labor based work forces
College degree helpful
Experience with ladders preferred
Must be willing to work in outdoor year round weather conditions
