Summary:
1. Designs and produces drawings of homes and site plans
2. Produces black lines for marketing purposes
3. Plan management to ensure accuracy of plans.
Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for creation of new plans as directed from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images, along with written and verbal descriptions.
2. Responsible for plan management including corrections and alterations.
3. Make changes to plans for efficiencies in design as directed by the Director of Internal Operations.
4. Adds options to plans as directed by the Director of Internal Operations.
5. Work directly with Sales Manager as needed to prepare plans for Architectural Review Committee.
6. Create site plans
7. Work closely with all departments in the plant to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
8. Utilizes drafting resources to more efficiently carry out above mentioned tasks.
9. Create black lines for marketing purposes.
10. Performs additional related duties as requested or required.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge: Associates degree in drafting design or equivalent experience required. In addition, one to three years residential drafting experience. Experience working for a production builder preferred. Must have valid driver s license.
Skills: Proficient computer skills, including AutoCAD, Revit, Windows, Word and Excel. Proficient with 3 dimensional AutoCAD design and drafting. High attention to detail and results. Mechanical and technical skills and knowledge. Strong verbal and written communication skills
Teamwork skills.
Abilities: Able to work with limited supervision. Able to follow directions. Results oriented while maintaining attention to detail. Ability and willingness to learn. Ability to meet deadlines.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
