Summary:
1. Perform quantity takeoffs on production and custom homes.
2. Plan takeoff management to ensure accuracy of takeoff numbers.

Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for creation of plan takeoffs as directed from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images, along with written and verbal descriptions.
2. Responsible for plan takeoff management including corrections and alterations.
3. Make changes to plans takeoffs for efficiencies in design as directed by the Director of Internal Operations.
4. Adds option takeoffs to plans as directed by the Director of Internal Operations.
5. Work closely with all departments in the company to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
6. Utilizes time resources to more efficiently carry out above mentioned tasks.
7. Performs additional related duties as requested or required.
Qualifications
Knowledge: Bachelor s degree in construction management or equivalent experience preferred. In addition, one to three years residential estimating experience. Experience working for a production builder preferred. Must have valid driver s license.
Skills: Proficient computer skills, including Planswift, Windows, Word Outlook and Excel. High attention to detail and results. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Teamwork skills.
Abilities: Able to work with limited supervision. Able to follow directions. Results oriented while maintaining attention to detail. Ability and willingness to learn. Ability to meet deadlines.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
