Graphic Designer/Web Developer
Job Description
The Graphic Designer/Web Developer is responsible for creating and updating online content and print material for American Name Services properties and marketing vehicles. This includes: website design, banner ads, landing pages, marketing emails, brochures, postcards, posters, newspaper ads, design mock-ups, and researching new technologies.
American Name Services is looking for an individual who is creative, passionate, energetic, efficient and effective at translating written and oral ideas into print and digital content at an established Marketing agency
SALARY RANGE: $48,000 to $55,000 DOE
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Collaborate within Marketing Department for initial campaign needs.
Manage projects from beginning to end, including concept, design, layout, approvals and sending files to print
Responsible for supporting the existing corporate web site infrastructure as well as developing new web technologies to support Marketing campaigns, search engine optimization, flexible branding options, and transactional capabilities
Develop back-end and front-end design including user interface for client-facing and internal web applications
Integrate text and graphics into the design of existing marketing materials
Meet with marketing department and internal clients on projects to collaborate on design ideas, technical specifications and project timelines
Provide expert input on projects being considered for video, advertisement and product marketing
Maintain correct file versions during development cycle and during production handoff.
Set specs for print projects and review all print proofs prior to final press runs
Ensure design schedule deadlines are met for each project
Design other collateral, including in-house ads
Must be independent, self-motivated and able to manage priorities and achieve results in a fast-paced environment
Edit and compress video for websites
Qualifications
EDUCATION/ WORK
Experience:
Bachelor s degree in graphic design, or related design experience
4 years of graphic design experience (please provide portfolio)
Experience designing with InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Experience designing marketing collateral (brochure, sales material, mailers, etc)
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS,
Knowledge of Javascript, PHP, MySQL and/or UNIX(LAMP) systems preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
