Assistant Graphic Designer/Production Assistant
Job Description
Applicants should have a thorough knowledge of both Macintosh and Windows operating systems, and be proficient with all Adobe software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat). A strong eye for color accuracy and details is also necessary. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is also required.
Applicant will be responsible for determining prepress readiness of client artwork files, making sure color separation will print correctly, preparing proofs for color-matching and organizing projects for production.
Responsibilities
Applicant must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including job tracking, computer file archive management, receiving client approvals for printing, and updating job specifications and job tickets.
Qualifications
Associates Degree Graphic Design
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience.
