Sales Associate / Manager in Training
Job Description
Sales Associates are the primary face of Play It Again Sports. It is their responsibility to provide an exceptional customer experience by being helpful, knowledgeable, and resourceful. Associates also manage rentals, advertising, inventory management, merchandising, and store maintenance.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to our customers and community. Be knowledgeable about current sporting goods equipment, styles, trends, and markets.
Must be able to stand/walk for several hours per day. Lifting over 40lbs is regularly required. Must have own transportation, and be reliable. Must have a passion for helping people.
Qualifications
MUST BE A SELF STARTER!!
Play it Again Sports is locally owned and operated, which means we do everything in house. Working at Play It Again Sports is a great opportunity to build your resume as we have many different tasks that change on a daily basis. Our Associates must be self starting, problem solving, and hard working. As an Associate you often will make decisions and prioritize, not only what task need to be done on a given day, but also how those tasks will be completed. There is a lot of freedom, but with it comes an equal amount of responsibility. We provide full training on everything needed to do the job, but we do not micro-manage, or have time for babysitting.
