Loan Collections Supervisor

Responsibilities
While adhering to company policies and procedures, demonstrates good customer service skills while initiating outbound calls and receiving inbound calls from customers.
Negotiates account resolution and accurately documents actions within the collection systems and scans all written collection correspondence to the borrowers loan file while maintaining company performance and productivity standards.
Sends out monthly system generated loan past due and loan maturity reports to loan officers.
Maintains up-to-date customer contact information in the collections systems.
Escalates and assists the loan officers with calls as needed.
Will perform advanced loss prevention activities (i.e. skip tracing, collection letters, bankruptcies and foreclosure activities with the bank s legal department).
Prepare monthly 30-day past due reporting for senior management.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
College Degree or formalized education, business or related degree is a plus
Prior collections experience a plus
