Administrative Assistant

Job Description
The Administrative Assistant provides a variety of important administrative, project management and other support services to executive management. Primary duties will require the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. This individual will represent the executives when interfacing with external and internal clients, potential clients and vendors. The Administrative Assistant will administer programs, projects, and/or processes. The Administrative Assistant will also serve as a facilitator to coordinate deadlines, resolving issues directly or through others, to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner in high pressure situations. Work hours will need to be adapted and/or extended to meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities
Perform as receptionist; handle questions and complaints; set up and confirm appointments and meetings. Oversee the needs of any visitor to the departments. Deal with complex queries on the telephone, by email and in person. Administer and assist in managing internal projects by following up with responsible parties, managing deadlines and providing support to other staff. Use systematic methods to track time commitments and the completion of tasks; coordinate and plan travel arrangements; coordinate and make arrangements for conferences, meetings and events.

Qualifications
Excellent communication skills, ability to manage projects, ability to exercise independent judgement and problem-solving, excellent customer service and able to establish and maintain effective relationships, experience with social media, bachelor's degree.
Experience in marketing/public relations/graphic design expertise helpful, knowledge of products such as Constant Contact, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder & Hootsuite helpful.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
