Job Description
Supports operating units by implementing human resources programs including:
benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, on boarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, employment law compliance, and solving performance problems.
Responsibilities
Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, regulatory compliance.
Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending courses of action.
Administers the compensation program.
Monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting and communicating benefits information to employees.
Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees.
Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
Writes and places advertisements for open positions.
Recruits, interviews, and screens job applicants for all exempt, nonexempt, and temporary personnel.
Conduct and manage new-employee orientations.
Prepares HR reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field or equivalent education, training and experience.
2. Two to four years of experience in human resource generalist role.
3. HR Professional Certification is preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
