Part Time Assistant Geek Job
Job Description
I need someone that has experience and, very important, someone that is ORGANIZED. The thing is, I'm not very organized and two of us would probably bring the company to its knees, posthaste. So, I seriously need someone that can take tasks that i give them and accomplish without prodding or forgetting. Also someone that brings to the table skills and knowledge to make us a better company though the IT side of things. Backups, security, etc. You know, the boring necessities :

I need to hire quickly because I leave again soon and need someone here while i'm gone. The hours might not start out as full time, but I do see them working into being a full time position sooner than later if all things go as planned.
This IS FOR SURE the type of company that as you work hard and fit in you will find that you can advance into quite a nice future. Having said that, the pay at the start won't be anything to put your kids through college on.
Responsibilities
Doing a major migration to G-Suite that will be an immediate attention getter, both mail and google drive. Also moving off of traditional PC Server and into more cloud/NAS based.
Client, setup, update, backup maintenance, etc.
IP Phones
Software install and troubleshoot
Hardware setup and troubleshoot
KEEPING ME ORGANIZED and taking over tasks i do daily that steal my time from other things!
Qualifications
We are pretty much 100% Mac based at this point so a great comfort level with that would be necessary.
You MUST be able to enjoy free food and drinks provided by the company.
Helpful if you enjoy sports, since we are a sportswear company. I know, most geeks have an aversion to all things sports, so it isn't a requirement.
Bonus points if you recognize this posting from the past. I posted this position and didn't end up filling it so don't think i hired someone, hated them (or they hated meha!) and am looking for someone else - i posted the job, left town, came back, left again, came back and didn't get to hiring someone. I'm dying over here!!!

I've been at this amazing company for the past 18 years and we are blowing up with projects and things that need my attention. I've been the only geek on staff taking care of servers, clients, phone systems, printers and the occasional stapler. With our growth and direction my position has taken i really need to bring on someone who can help me conquer my task-list of things needing to be done, as well as someone there when i'm not (which has been quite a bit with my travels).Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
