Flexo Press Helper
Job Description
Traco Manufacturing Inc. has been in business since 1985 and has worked diligently to become the industry leader in service, quality and reliability of flexible packaging, printed labels, and supplies. We are currently looking for a motivated, self-reliant, skilled, team member to fill the position of Packaging Distribution Coordinator for our 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
- Understand products and customer requirements.
- Pull, inspect, cut, and mount plates
- Clean and load Analog rollers and ink pans
- Have film ready for the job
- Understand job tickets and print production flow
- Run test to ensure product quality and first time right
- Set up entire machine for the job using procedure (AVT & BST, photo Eyes systems)
- Log job in Labor Ticket computer
- Fulfill jobs based on scheduled due dates and keep white board updated.
- Clean press constantly, after each job, and lubricate as needed.
- Order all supplies and parts for the Flexo press as needed.
- Work with Pre/Post press, Production, and Account Managers to ensure jobs are getting out to the next area correctly and on time.
Qualifications
This position requires:
A High School Diploma. Previous employment in a Flexo printing environment is beneficial. Employee must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Selected candidate(s) will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen. 2nd shift is scheduled from 2:
30pm to 11pm. Some Saturdays with overtime may be required.
