Traco Packaging Inc. is a packaging and flexible printer & distributor who has been in business since 1985. Traco has worked diligently to become the industry leader in service, quality and reliability of general packaging, boxes, tapes, printed labels, and supplies. We are currently looking for a motivated, self-reliant, skilled, team member to fill the position of Traco Sales Representative in our National Wholesale Division.
This position has a high compensation potential with uncapped commissions on residual business accounts. Traco's business model of rewarding sales representatives through a model of selling razors with the blades theory in mind helps Traco Packaging thrive in the market place. Over 50% of our representatives earn $100,000 in commissions with average sales representatives at Traco making $80,000
a year. Top sales representatives make in excess of $200,000 per year.
Responsibilities
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Create, Manage and Service accounts while selling solution driven products within assigned territory of service.
Develop and maintain active and productive working relationships with client contacts.
Prospect for and develop new accounts.
Generate new business by using existing relationships and networks and cold calls.
Manage and coordinate the introduction of Traco products in the assigned territory.
Provide market feedback as to packaging trends and preferences by end user market segments.
Research, gather and highlight competitive activities.
Manage and follow up on price requests, quotes to customers and orders placed.
Develop key account plans for key accounts / prospects.
Provide product training and technical assistance to customers to enable them to understand and serve customer needs.
Use specified tools to report on market and competitive activity in a timely and accurate manner.
Attend & assist with various national and regional trade shows and events to assist the organization in representing our products and services to customers and prospects.
Consult with customers and provide them with guidance and recommendations on specific applications and packaging solutions to meet their needs
Submit required paperwork and reports on a timely basis to ensure efficient sales operations.
Prepare presentations, reports and price quotations as required in the selling process.
Maintain awareness of all client concerns or issues and immediately report & present them to Traco Management staff.
Effectively monitor your work output and projects with other Traco departments against agreed upon timetables.
Efficiently incorporate senior Account Management staff as project objectives or issues warrant.
Successfully manage your time, establish clear objectives and day-to-day priorities for yourself in order to handle multiple customer tasks and deadlines. Will report day-to-day, week-to-week and month-to-month activities to Traco Management through reporting and meetings.
Maintain past, current and future (Leads) client information through reporting & competitive files.
Follow all standard verbal and written Traco policies and procedures with guidance of Traco Management.
Work directly with Customer Account Managers to support & grow current and new business.
Prospect for new clients through a multi-layered approach of prospecting.
Attend and participate in company sales meetings.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to grow existing accounts and open new accounts.
Ability to analyze and interpret customer needs as well as formulate and recommend solutions in a consultative manner.
Customer service orientation with direct customers, distributors and internally.
Negotiations skills, solution focused: able to collaborate to solve problems.
Effective communication skills: interpersonal, written, and presentation.
Sales business acumen including pricing, forecasting, basic financials and sales systems.
Ability to travel to customer and prospect sites in territory.
3-5 years sales experience; preferably in packaging industry would be a plus.
College degree in lieu of experience or equivalent work experience required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
