Ophthalmic Technician
Job Description
The Cataract & LASIK Center of Utah is excited to add another Ophthalmic Technician to their fun and busy practice based in Orem, UT. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing an exceptional experience to each patient that walks through our doors. Not only will you be assisting the physicians with general eye exams & testing, but your role is optimal in making a difference in the day of each person you interact with. This person should be energetic, friendly, outgoing and someone who enjoys building relationships.
Responsibilities
Some of the daily duties of this individual will be testing patient's vision, examine eye for abnormalities, apply eye drops, and perform additional measurements and duties as requested.
Qualifications
Experience in the eye care field is preferred, but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate. Looking for an individual who is committed to patient care and willing to go above and beyond for each patient. We focus heavily on customer service and the right candidate will have a great understanding of how to treat patients and others. We offer health benefits, paid vacation and an amazing work environment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
