Assembly Technician, Day Shift

Our Company Turner MedTech focuses on the manufacture of products for the medical life science physical science and security and defense industries.
We have launched a cuttingedge mobile xray imaging system called the SmartC that is revolutionizing these industries.
The person that fills this position will help this new product through exciting growth opportunities.
Assembly of electromechanical devices.
Works effectively and efficiently as a team member working closely with engineering for continuous improvement.
Follows established instructions andor procedures performing manufacturing tasks per manufacturing specifications and within regulatory requirements critical for a medical device manufacturing company.
The Assembly Technician practices safe work habits to ensure operations are as efficient and safe.
Protective equipment is provided and must be worn as directed.
Manufacturing tasks will include electrical assembly installing PC boards connecting cables etc.
mechanical assembly fasteners bonding fixturing etc.
software installations functional testing and packaging.
Additional duties as directed by the supervisor.
Dexterity in handling and assembling small parts Basic computer skills data entry working with applications programs etc.
An understanding of computer hardware function is a plus.
Able to lift or more pounds High school diploma or GED required Thoroughness and attention to detail critical to assure regulatory compliance Positive upbeat attitude Good communication skills Able to take direction and act on it Able to work well under pressure to support customer requirements Able to work effectively in a team environment and get along with others.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
