Our tech Robert says \I have been using this generator as 3 phase backup power for a few years and It has been a fantastic Gen set. On very cold startups the engine surges up and down slightly a few times (about 5 seconds) and smokes lightly, then it smooths out and runs good. The engine compression is good. Replacing the fuel injectors will take care of the startup surge and smoke but it works good as is.\
