Extra Large, Vintage HOOKER FURNITURE SEVEN SEAS Office Desk, Chippendale Style, Mahogany, Marble Insert Top, Carved Ball and Claw Legs, File Cabinet, 4 Drawers. Center drawer has a foldout, keyboard tray. There are many variations of Hooker Seven Seas desks. This one is very rare, a larger size, and with extra carvings in the corners above the legs, and in other locations. It also has the upgraded, marble top panels (instead of the cheaper leather). Never before have you seen a desk more beautiful than a Hooker Seven Seas desk. These look like the resolute desk in the White House, and as if they were carved from the wood of a high sea's galleon. They are incredible in design, and carved beautifully. Mildly rustic, carvings are decorated with gilt silver (that's not dust in the photos). Dimensions: Desk Top 72" X 36", Height 31", Chair Opening Width 30" Wide x 24" Tall. Excellent Condition. These run around $5,000 new, but we are letting it go for only $1495 (as it is pre-owned).
